Terms and Conditions

  1. Company Details
    Commodore International Corporation ("Company", "we", "us") is a Delaware corporation. Principal office: 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, USA. Email us. Not yet registered for EU/UK VAT. Any VAT number will appear here when issued.

  2. Acceptance
    Using this website ("Site") or purchasing from us forms a binding contract incorporating these Terms, the Return Policy, and the Privacy Policy.

  3. Age Requirement
    You must be at least 18 years old or the local age of majority.

  4. Products
    We sell computer hardware and digital downloads worldwide. Orders that breach local laws or sanctions will be refused.

  5. Orders & Contract Formation
    A contract forms only after we email an order‑confirmation. We may cancel and refund any order before shipment if necessary.

  6. Prices, Taxes, and Duties
    Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, customs duties, and import fees.

  7. Payment Methods
    We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other method shown at checkout.

  8. Shipping, Title, and Risk
    Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed. Title and risk pass when the carrier first attempts delivery to you.

  9. Returns & EU Right of Withdrawal
    9.1 Hardware: Unused hardware may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund (EU cooling‑off right), minus outbound shipping.
    9.2 Digital downloads: By starting a download within the 14‑day period you expressly waive the right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m).
    9.3 Full return instructions are in the separate Return Policy linked in the footer.

  10. Warranty
    Hardware includes a 1‑year limited warranty in addition to any non‑waivable consumer rights (for example, EU 2‑year legal guarantee, UK Consumer Rights Act, Australian Consumer Law).

  11. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  12. Intellectual Property
    All Site content is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without written permission.

  13. User‑Generated Content Licence
    If you submit content (for example, reviews), you grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display that content.

  14. Compliance with Laws
    You must not breach US export controls or international sanctions.

  15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
    15.1 Informal Resolution: Email us and allow 30 days for resolution.
    15.2 Arbitration: Unresolved disputes are submitted to binding arbitration administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) seated in London, UK, conducted in English. The US Federal Arbitration Act governs enforcement. Consumers whose mandatory local laws prohibit foreign arbitration may instead bring claims in their home courts.

  16. Marketing Emails
    Marketing emails are sent only with your opt‑in consent. Each email includes an unsubscribe link.

  17. Changes
    We may update these Terms at any time; new Terms apply to future orders.

  18. Severability
    If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remainder remains in effect.

    This Policy explains how Commodore International Corporation collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our Site or purchase from us.

  4. How We Use Data

    • Process and deliver orders.

    • Provide customer support.

    • Send marketing emails if you have opted in.

    • Improve the Site and prevent fraud.

  5. Retention
    Order records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting. Marketing records are kept until you withdraw consent. Analytics cookies last up to 24 months.

  6. Sharing with Third Parties
    We share data only with service providers who help us operate and who contractually agree to protect it, including Stripe/PayPal (payments), UPS/FedEx/DHL (shipping), Google Analytics (analytics), and Shopify (e‑commerce platform). We do not sell or share personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.

  7. International Transfers
    Data may be processed in the USA and other countries. For transfers from the EEA/UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. We have appointed a GDPR Article 27 representative: Commodore España SL, C/ Principal 12, 03580 L’Alfàs del Pí, Alicante, Spain, email.

  8. Your Rights

    • EEA/UK: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdraw consent, lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

    • California: right to know, delete, correct, opt‑out of sale/share, limit sensitive data use, no discrimination.

  9. Do Not Track
    We do not track users across third‑party websites and therefore do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

  10. Cookies
    We use essential cookies for site functionality, analytics cookies for traffic stats, and advertising cookies only with your consent. The cookie banner lets you manage preferences.

  11. Security
    We use TLS encryption, tokenised payments, and access controls. While no security is perfect, we follow industry standards.

  12. Children
    We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
